Wow! if you want great communication and honesty from an attorney this is the law firm to get hooked up with.  In the beginning, just ask if it is for communication that way you will not be charged for communicating with them.  They have an accountant for your case who is on top of your account at all times. In the end, ask for a complete statement of your cost for your divorce.  Some funds will need to be given to your tax accountant.  Cheryl, Dan, Cathleen, and Desiree are outstanding individuals who work with the firm.  Cheryl was my attorney.  I can not tell you how wonderful, and easy to understand the knowledge of explanation during the course of my divorce.  It all made sense when she described the process. Divorce sucks but if you want an outstanding law firm to work with G&K Law Firm you will not be disappointed.  Team work at G&K stood by me through a year in a half  dealing with a very stressful case.  Can't stress the excellent representation, composure and with work ethic this team has shown me.  I had a narcissistic husband now my EX-HUSBAND.  The definition was spot on, and I had never known the word until I was told what it meant.  My divorce proceedings lasted longer than I had expected.  The process was defined and explained again and again.  The reason I say this, again and again, is the lingo needed to be explained in words I understood. Patience intergrity, honesy and knowledge is what this Team brings to the table.

Dan Preddy is a compassionate attorney who is also very effective in court.  Contrary to other reviews, I found he cared deeply about my childrens' well-being and the impact of the litigation and other attorney's strategy on them.  Saved me from paying my spouse's attorneys fees.  He is busy, because he is in demand, and he was always responsive when needed.  Smart, capable, explains legal standards and therefore your options clearly.  He navigated my ex's attorney as well as could be expected given her overzealous litigation.

Attorney Dan Preddy lack of ethics and integrity is not good especially when it comes to the sensitivity and well-being of children. He is unscrupulous and greedy.

Dan Preddy is typical white male privelege. He misrepresents facts, makes inflammatory statements, avoids reasonable responsibility, and is full of bravado. With his experience, he uses the court system to further his client's desires and strengthen his stats as an attorney with no regard for what's in the best interest of children even despite documented violations and abuses by his clients. He is manipulative at best and unethical to say the least. Typical abuse of power by a white male who feels above any code of ethics or the law. He's obviously very conditioned and comfortable with getting what he desires. His actions are a reason people are jaded by the family courts and kids end up getting harmed.
