What a beautiful Bay Area city, rolling hills, historic farming area, great community spirit. I work in Fremont and have found my co-workers love it here, with hiking and bike trails everywhere.Especially notable is the Community Spirit: The Shaolin Festival (5/15) was enhanced by several elected officials describing the importance of strong community & family- health, unity, hope.  It was inspiring to me, as a volunteer at this event.

After almost six years of living in a different city than Fremont, I cringe a bit at my review. I have nothing against the races I mentioned. Some of my best mountaineering partners and co-workers are Indians. Some of my dearest friends are Hispanic. But while I was living in Fremont my frustration was real, and I was simply being honest. I now live in a city outside the Bay Area with completely different demographics, and now I have new frustrations. Overall, I am happier outside of the Bay Area, and I have lower blood pressure. It really comes down to this: where we living now is less crowded, has less traffic, less competition, and we are meeting all of our educational goals for our children. I never thought I would say this, but I really do miss the cultures, the interesting jobs, and I even miss being "unusual" as a minority. I don't think I miss it enough to go back, especially with housing prices the way they are, but I will always have a place in my heart for Fremont.

I do not want to give my opinion on the city I have lived in most of my life. Let's just say I'm trying hard to get outta here!This review is strictly to help y'all find the ballot box at CITY HALL...It's next to the visitor parking in between two buildings at 3300 Capitol Ave.This box has been here in the same place for years. Although it was never a scary thought to put your mail or ballot in the actual USPS blue box or post office. We now know we may not be able to trust our tried and true postal service that has been an American institution for over 100 years!Hopefully this helps you find a way to speak your mind. No matter who you vote for it is your right to vote and know it counts... ***Since news of the illegal ballot boxes the GOP have put in different places around California I thought it worth mentioning this is a state sanctioned OFFICIAL BALLOT BOX!***1 star for Fremont.5 stars for voters!
