UCI Health — Fountain Valley

Worst place to take your loved ones, took my father into the ER worst experience ever. Saw a Doctor that didn't even take the time to even explain what was wrong with my dad then got an RN that could not explain what medications are being given to the patient, let alone have horrible injection skills. To the discharge Nurse that cant even explain the discharge papers as well or diagnosis. Basically being kicked out the hospital without any real explaination of what was wrong with my dad. Where did they train these so-called medical professionals??? Fountain Valley Regional or UCI you urgently need to take some time and do some QC on your staff. People come in with real medical needs and deserve to be treated in a professional matter!! People are not just a number they come in to be seen because they have real medical emergencies and put there lives and trust in your hands, they deserve to be treated better!!

Dr Al Sadek is the most incompetent doctor Ive ever spoken to. I used to work in healthcare and he was so patronizing trying to make me look like I was faking it. Not to mention some of the nurses were so rude. Do not go here. Go to Hoag.

19th of March i went to emergancy department of this hospital. I told them that i have tongue whittening and pain. Possibly caused by candida. I got this candida from antibiotics which was given to me from same hospital several months ago because i had cistities and doctor did not prescribe antifungal too. My candida got worse as i did not have insurance to go to doctor or buy antifungal medication. On 19 th Marxh i showed to emergancy doctor my tongue and she told me that she would take swap to check if i have candida. Today i called to check the results and apparently they did not do test for candida for what i am suffering alrwady one week It is absolutely unrpofessional. They di just told me that i have a virus which caused me whitenning of the tongue while i have no flue symtpoms. They even prescribed wrong medication. Thanks god i did not go and buy antiflue medication. Firstly they caused me candida and secondly they did not do proper tests and prescribed wrong medication. Unprofessional doctor who attended me. .

the only good thing was that the wait was about average, just about 2 hours or so? but the worst part? was seriously how dumb the nurse and doctor was? it literally explains why there are so many death yearly because of the doctors poor judgment on not listening to the patient and thinking they know everything? when doctor lebby first saw me? i tried explaining my symptoms, and in the middle of me explaining everything? he cuts me off and talks to the nurse saying just give me a CT scan (which i didnt need) then proceeds to ask for a urine sample (which was also completely unnecessary because my urine was tested before and it came back clean everytime). in the end? they looked at me like an idiot and sent me home without trying to fix my problem (which i am currently still suffering with and dont know what to do) never felt so helpless and lost at the same time because i cant get any help with my issue...
