Really cool place to be thrown back in time. They do group tours for schools so it can get a little busy but the staff was helpful and made it a fun experience with the family. My favorite part was the working blacksmith shop that they have inside the village, very neat to see and learn about!

Cute little outdoor exhibit. It was nice to walk around and the historical collection is impressive. On top of that, a blacksmith shop right in Folsom is pretty neat! The only reason I didnt rate higher is because most of the staff didnt wear their masks. The guide sitting in front of the blacksmith shop was chatting with a masked family about 4 feet away and didnt wear a mask. Two other guides were chatting with each other, one with a mask on their chin and one missing one entirely. The latter approached to say hi to my dog and still had no mask on.
