        The service was great. Carryout breakfast from the restaurant just down the block. Sounds funny, but the couch was very comfortable. Rooms: Spacious, comfortable, good couch Nearby activities: Main Street is just around the corner

        Go somewhere else! The photos make the property look like a nice 2 story motel. In actuality it is a 2 story facade (which you see the photo of) with a one story strip, side of the highway motel. The room has goodwill quality furniture and the sink for bathroom use is also the kitchen sink. Ick.

        Great location for visiting Ferndale! It is located right in the heart of downtown, so everything is within walking distance. The hotel is tied to a lovely general store. Staff is super friendly. I was impressed with the rooms. I have stayed at several older, historic hotels and this one has been the roomiest and coziest by far!

      The front four suites are in the 2-story section - 2 rooms upstairs and 2 rooms downstairs. The other 6 rooms are on the ground floor of the single-story sections. All but three of the rooms have full kitchens, living rooms and separate bedrooms, and their sinks are definitely not anywhere near the bathrooms. The other 3 rooms have vanities in a dressing room area, but do not have kitchens. We are very sorry this guest seems to have not had a pleasant stay and would very much like to make it up to her...but we don't know her name or which room she stayed in, and her concerns were not mentioned to us at the time, which would have enabled us to make things better for her during her stay.
