I usually have A phone appointment. But every time that I do I have to call because they have forgotten to call me. And if the doctor has already ordered the medication but the pharmacy lost it or whatever they refuse to re-order it for you

There's nothing comprehensive about these people. I went in for depression and anxiety and wanted to get something I knew helped me before and a diagnosis for potential BPD. I filled out the paperwork and when he looked at it he saw that bipolar runs in my family and my dad and sister have it, so he ignored everything I said and was trying to say about how I feel and what's making me overwhelmed and he started asking me if I've ever had at least one mood swing? Because that means I'm bipolar. I'm NOT bipolar. It takes multiple people a long time to diagnose bipolar and it takes more than one mood swing in your life to have it. I tried to ask for a specific medication for anxiety as I have taken it before and it helped for panic attacks. He perscribed me a depression medication even though I said I can deal with my depression my anxiety is what bothers me and I was having panic attacks a lot because of my living situation. He ignored that entirely and explained that the medication fixes both and if you're depressed it'll fix the anxiety IF you have it. He made me feel jumbled and I felt kind of like my issues were not believed. I got the medication and felt super unheard, he also ordered me to do lab work and scheduled another apt to return to go over lab work and talk about medication. I read the side effects and decided I don't need the medication as its not worth the risk. I went back to go over the bloodwork I did for him. I expressed I felt uncomfortable taking the medication because of the side effects and he became angry with me saying "well no one would take medication if they looked at the side effects what do you want if you won't take medication? I don't do talk therapy" I asked if he had the lab work he said no I told him then I'm leaving and he said okay good luck. He was a complete asshole and I cannot believe the horrible treatment I received here, you make people want to kill themselves. We are already struggling with mental health thats why we see you and then you refuse to actually treat the patient with kindness let alone LISTEN to what they need. If you had listened to me you would have figured out I have ADHD you f*cking assholes. I hope you go out of business y'all don't deserve to see Patients. You don't even know how to do your job. Blindly prescribing medication and trying to give a false diagnosis probably so you can push pills. Sincerely? Fuck you enjoy my $80 copay you bastard

Dr. Noorulain Aqeel at the Fairfield, CA Comprehensive Psychiatric Services (CPS) location is an amazing doctor. Dr. Aqeel and the front desk receptionist Ency P. are both wonderful. Dr. Aqeel offers appointments via a secure video call during the pandemic situation and he has great availability.

I wish I could express how disappointed I am with this company. As someone who has dealt with mental health struggles for a long time I am very comfortable with the process of receiving refills on medications. After being a patient for a little over a year I have been without medication 3x already. I spend weeks trying to get someone to give me prescribed meds. They use an answering service exclusively for refills and I am not sure if it's the service or the doctor but there is a miscommunication somewhere that leaves me without my prescriptions. I call the service multiple times a day. No one from the doctors office calls me back. My doctor doesn't send in the refill. Once, I was blamed for the meds not being accurately written to the pharmacy. This is gross medical misconduct and completely unacceptable! I start the process of refills at least 7 - 10 days before I run out and still run out. As I write this I am on day 3 of being without my meds, after skipping apx 7 days (It's a medication I take when I need it, though I have gone through severe withdraw on a medication which needs to be taken daily), so in reality I am 10 days over due. Weather you are a current patient or a prospective one I plead for caution on your part. Being without medication is extremely dangerous!
