To start... I went in for an oil change and mentioned a new "shutter" the vehicle had started doing. Got a call several hours later telling me a motor mount was broken and my brakes were bad and I needed rotors turned and the pads replaced. Did my own research for the motor mount and found, locally, several places that had them in stock and they ran under $100. I was told they charge $130 an hour for labor and it would take about an hour and a half to replace the motor mount. Based on that , I estimated about $350-$400 for a fix. The guy estimated it at $450 to $600 dollars. Total charge $472. Plus $100 for the oil change. I decided to have the brakes done elsewhere and when I took the car there, they told me my "brakes and rotors were fine". Excuse me? What? Its your choice, but I wont go back.
