Ace tool warranty does not apply here even though all ACE hand tools are guaranteed for life no matter who warranties them with or without receit . Apparently Shafers in Eureka at either stores do not choose to honor ACE guarantee even though they sell them. Most of the employees know nothing about warranty or anything else they sell. Service is generally terrible and employees would rather avoid you than help. The owner/managers seem to want your money and be done with you and above any warranty. Chances are you will usually spend more time pissed off looking than buying in Shafers.More than once looking I have caught employees hiding and watching me like I was a shoplifter rather tha help.I have spent thousands of $ over the years and felt obligated to rate them since I have several garden tools they refused to warranty and dismissed me even they told me they told me guaranteed ar time of purchase. UNRELIABLE and RUDE
