I dropped off a crankshaft to get turned. I was told it would take about a week to turn around. That's pretty typical for this kind of service, so fine with me. I get a call 24 hours later that it is ready. Super impressed at not only the quick turnaround, but they were communicative to let me know as soon as it was ready. Staff I dealt with were friendly, communicative, and professional. I am very impressed as I have had mixed experiences with machine shops in the past. Would recommend and will return for future services.

Drew and his team are amazing! We bought our son an older Ford Ranger. We knew the truck would need some work but were not expecting to need a whole engine rebuild. We had taken the truck to a place closer to home that told us the heads were blown and we needed a new engine. That place told us it would be $8,000. I felt this was over priced and a bit shady. We had that shop stop the work immediately and had the truck towed home. My father in law found MJM online. I was still very reluctant to send the truck all the way to Escondido to people we had never met. I called Drew explained all of this. He was kind, answered all of my questions and was so patient with me. He never acted like I was a burden. We had the truck towed up to MJM with the engine in pieces. Drew knew I was panicking, called to let me know the truck had arrived and that he would call me after his assessment. Drew held true to each time he said he would call. He gave me all of my options, price breakdown.. etc. we had the engine rebuilt at a fraction of the cost that the shady shop had quoted us and the truck is running amazing! I never felt pressured or that I was being sold anything extra. In general I do not trust mechanics. After working with Drew, that has changed! I seriously dont want to ever take one of our vehicles anywhere else! If you want amazing customer service with knowledgeable mechanics you should definitely call Drew and the MJM team!

They were able to rebuild my entire engine when most would complain about having to do that kind of work. The engine runs flawlessly, idles flawlessly, and gets much better gas mileage. They certify their work with a 100k mile warranty/2 or 3 yr warranty as well. If I have any more work that needs to be done, I will definitely come back to these gentlemen. UPDATE: I had my power steering line touch the bolts on my exhaust pipe and these guys fixed the line and topped off the fluid at no cost. I just wanted to provide an example of if anything goes wrong that isn't blatant negligence or you breaking the car, they will fix it for under their warranty.
