KENEKS Therapy Kids

Edit: Changing my rating to 5 stars. TL;DR, whoever I spoke to on the phone was wrong. The manager talked with me on her own about review, and reassured me that this is NOT how it was supposed to go. They DO make exceptions to their fee policy if the child is sick, fever, throwing up, etc. as well as if there is an emergency. Whoever I had talked to was wrong, and I was apologized to for the error. Leaving the original review up so people who might be having a similar experience can find the review and see that it is not their policy to charge parents for sick children. 5/5 therapy 5/5 management Original Post: Daughter is sick and throwing up with a low grade fever. I called in the morning to cancel our end of day appointment, and was told we'd be charged a $45 cancellation fee for having a sick child. I asked if I should just bring my sick child, they said yes. So beware, they will encourage sick children who are contagious to come and interact with the waiting room, toys, and therapist.

I can't say enough great things about Miss Katie! She is just so wonderful and has been extremely patient with my son. He very much a mamas boy and has a hard time adjusting to new places and meeting new people. The first few months of going to speech therapy was rough; lots of crying and not wanting to do the activities. Miss Katie was so understanding and knew that she just needed to build a bond of trust with my son. She waited for him to approach her and never forced him to do anything he wasn't comfortable with. Now 6 months later and he loves going to see her every week. He has grown so much with his speech and social skills. Maria the receptionist makes you feel so welcome and is always so kind.  I'm so grateful to have found this place.

Highly recommend, my son had OT and PT there and is going great with their help. All the therapists are incredibly professional, kind, patient, and loving.

Keneks is such an amazing place. My son is in speech and OT and he has improved so much. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It's a fun experience coming here.
