I used Oran for a few things. He is prompt. The work is good. Unlike other electricians, damage to the drywall is minimal. He doesn't charge an extra fee for coming to your home and no other hidden fees. His prices were lower than most other places. Good service all around. I have called Oran several times over the past few years - always dependable, prompt, professional, experienced, honest and with reasonable prices. He is always up front and fair regarding his estimate costs and informs me about his service charge policy, )and extra additional emergency call charges if necessary). - A note to "C" with the negative comment below - I have learned better someone who knows what to do and does it quickly than someone who wastes time trying to figure out the problem. I recall the popular joke of the plumber who is accused of charging a lot for a 5 minute job when he tapped a pipe to release it, and answered the complainant (who said he could have also just tapped the pipe), that the difference is that the experienced professional knows exactly where to tap the first time without causing damage!

Failed to notify me that there was a $125 service charge even though he is literally 15 minutes or less from my house. Turns out my garage outlet that wasnt working is tied to another outlet that just needed to be reset. He was in my garage literally less than a minute and smugly declared that he would give me a discount on the next job. There wont be a next job. You get the next job by treating people fairly on the first job.

5 stars all the way. This company goes above and beyond to give you good service. And they do. I called Oran's Electric because I was having some issues in my restaurant. The first time I called, they came in the same day within hours and fixed the problem. I was in need of them about two weeks later. I called and they said they were booked and that they will be able to come the next day. I called another electrician. They came out and looked at everything but were not able to figure out what was wrong and said that the next step would be to do a troubleshoot for $1,850. Um, that one did not happen. We get a call from Oran's Electric in the evening saying that they can come. By now I had an idea of what might be causing the electrical issue so I pointed it out. They said that they were familiar with the unit we had mentioned to them. They came and fixed the problem and we got out partial outage taken care of. Given, we did suggest or point out where they should look. But that is all good. With the level of service and knowledge these guys have, I think that they would have been able to figure out what was going on their own.
