Savory Spice Shop

Sad to say, this location closed in early 2018. We will miss them! There are no other retailers in the Encinitas/Carlsbad are who offer the vast selection and quality if spices offered here. I really like getting my spices here because they will sell any amount you need. I stock up on large quantities of things I use regularly but for those recipes that call for something I may only use a tablespoon of over the course of a year, I can buy a small amount in a little plastic envelope. They have a wide variety of seasonings and blends.

Great place, but today is their last day. The Lumberyard raised their rent as they did with Chuao last year and the result is that both places closed without relocating. 4 of the 5 reasons we used to go to 101 in Encinitas are now gone due to ever-increasing expenses.

Wow this shop has every spice you can think of.My wife is gonna love it!.......So I brought my wife here a few days later and Harrison explained some of their most popular unique spice blends.Very friendly and helpful service!

I received a box of Savory spices as a gift and was so impressed, I threw out my entire spice rack and replenished with Savory spices. Incredible flavors and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. We need low-salt, no sugar spices and they have a TON to choose from. I will also recommend their Coconut Honeybush loose-leaf tea: It is beyond tasty.
