Kirk was hired to build two gates. The job was simple, so I wasn't expecting any problems. From the start, he would disappear after an hour of working on the fences and never returned. When he did appear, he apparently had to fire his workers and had someone helping him that didn't know much. I'm surprised at the amount of time it took to build and install two gates. When someone writes in their review that he ghosted the job or never showed up when he was expected, believe it. It was almost laughable how many times he did this. Once, he said he was going to Home Depot and didn't show up for 4 days. We had a temporary gate in our yard fir 3 weeks. Finally, he told us on the day we wrote him a check and he needs cash only, which was never discussed. He said his bank doesn't take personal checks, which is the biggest lie he told. There's no record of the transaction after giving him cash, so he skipped out on paying taxes for the job. How many times has this happened? The IRS will be happy to take my report on the experience.

I wish I could write a better review but after waiting and waiting almost 3 months I have no fence! I'm sure the work would have been great but I cannot live longer without any fence and nowhere for my dogs to run around freely and no security at all! There are nights I have to be alone with the kids as my husbands job takes him away unexpectedly and having no fence is a security issue! We have to store all of our outside furniture or anything out there away so no one steals anything, especially if we are gone for the weekend! So I'm sorry for this review but I am only being honest! He's a nice person and I wish the job just had gotten done in the time he said it would and I could have left a better review! So if you can wait 3 months or longer without a fence,go ahead and hire this guy otherwise go somewhere else!
