Reckless driver almost killed us on the freeway. Driver pulling a full trailer almost pinned my car between his truck and a tractor trailer entering Route 80 Tuesday morning. Cant check your mirrors while on your phone I guess?

I have been walking and picking up litter on our landscaped Elk Grove streets for (3) years. I have witnessed the decline in the plant care. Our streets should be awash in color at this time of year but they are not. Terracare started "pruning" back the oleanders in early fall when they still had flowers. You continued "pruning' (hard) into early spring. All over Sacramento oleanders are in full bloom, not in Elk Grove. Have you walked the field to look at what your care is doing to the plant(s)? Now I see you're mowing grass that does not need it and would probably do better under drought conditions if the grass wasn't cut so often. A question for you, why aren't you dead wooding the plants that so badly need it? Why aren't you taking out all the dead bushes on Laguna, Franklin, Big Horn etc? The gardens are suffering under your care! I am certified in Landscape Technology and I have been a volunteer gardner at the UCD Arboretum for (7) years. I know of what I speak!
