Peter Ngai, DMD and Penny L Phipps, DDS

I have had a good experience with this office. I had previous issues with other offices that did not spend time with the patient. This office is different, and it has great customer service from everyone. I would add that the cash prices are higher here than elsewhere in other higher volume offices, but in exchange you get higher quality dental care. I would do an initial assessment and see if the prices fit in your budget whether you have insurance or not. I have decided to stay here and am very happy that I found this office.

I've always loved this office because they keep ahead of others in terms of technology. Today I had cavities filled using a laser instead of a drill. It sounds weird but it was so wonderful. I didn't have to have any Novacaine or shots. I asked Dr. Ngai a lot about it before he began and he mentioned that it is so wonderful to be able to see the tooth while removing soft matter or an old filling instead of having to pull the drill out of the way over and over again to see how it's going. The laser, at first, hits the enamel in a certain way that actually makes the tooth act numb. It was extremely fast. I never felt pain and he had two different teeth open, drying and filled in no time. It was crazy awesome. I went in with my son who needed to have four fillings and he would have normally visited twice to do cavities on the left then cavities on the right. Instead it was all done in one day and less time than it normally takes. I've always left this office and I'm really really happy!

It has always been a pleasure to have my dental work done by Dr. Peter Ngai and Dr. Penny Phipps. I have been going to their office for more years than I can remember. Everyone in the office is eager to help and a pleasure to talk to. They spend the necessary time for the work to be done well, and I never feel rushed.
