Burne Engineering Services Inc

Terrible experience with this company. They took months (over 6) to finish our remodeling plans and ignored all inquiries regarding the status.The failure to do anything (or respond) delayed our renovation for months. During construction there were some changes so we paid for additional assistance from the engineer which we felt was appropriate. Our contractor recently had a clarifying question and they billed us $150 to answer a yes/no question. We dealt with Alban Gjongecaj and Pranvera DeSafey. DeSafey was particularly rude and difficult. I do not recommend working with this company or either individual.

Lori and her team at Burne Engineering are the BEST!!! I was in a pickle, where time was of the essence..... my engineer of record would not answer my calls or get back to me, so I called Lori Burne at Burne Engineering to assist me with a detail change on my foundation plan. Lori and her team were already extremely busy with other client projects, but "stepped up to the plate and delivered for me in a major way". They stayed late and went above and beyond to review my structural calculations and existing plan to help find a solution for my foundation issue. With their help I was able to change my engineer of record to Burne Engineering and get a detail change executed in time for a new foundation inspection that I had already scheduled. Without solving this problem I would be on the hook for 100 plus yards of concrete that I had already ordered and scheduled for the morning after my inspection. I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Lori and her team. Don't make the same mistake that I made ........ call Burne Engineering from the start!!! They truly are the best engineering team around!
