Alterra Pest Control

we just started using Alterra and so far we are very pleased with the service even tho they have only been out twice...today we were visited by Pascal ...and although we live on a hill and areas around our house are hard to get to...Pascal did not complain and made his way easily around our property to put out the rat bait boxes that we requested...he was very friendly and respectful...we hope to see him the next time we are due for service... respectfully...donny and selma lovette ...Unfortunately we never saw Pascal again...They later sent out a guy that was about 100 lbs overweight...and he had a real problem getting around the property...He complained alot...this company eventually did not do an effective job for us and we began to see rat droppings and spiders in the house... The company that we used before Altera was Western Exterminators...Altho more costly they were much better at their job...We moved from the house...but we should have stayed with Western...A lesson learned...donny lovette

Aparently they sprayed my house. They sent me to collections for 99 dollars and I never received a bill in the mail. Cant cancel because nobody ever picks up the phone or returns phone calls.

4 months ago I was going to be out of town when they were going to service my house .I asked them to wait till I returned in a week...they sprayed while I was out of town ..I only knew because they charged my credit card..No statement was left at house. I called to cancel service and was told all was good and had been cancelled...I just returned back into the country yesterday and they had called and sprayed again...and charged my credit card that they were supposed to take of the account...I called the office and they said they had no record of me talking to anyone....Not liking a company that cant be cancelled and keeps your cc info.

Pascal and Corey came to service my home, a regular visit. They both did such a thorough job that I was almost in shock. They used the sponge wand and got in all the places that have been previously overlooked. When the spraying was done, time was taken to do the job carefully. All in all, to say that I was pleased would putting it mildly. Thank you for sending those two service pros. Sue L.

It's been almost more than 6 months since we contracted them. The spider problem has not diminish. It's the same as when we moved here. They left one day because it was raining and they stated they would return another day (we got billed for that) After THEY called us because we owed that money, my husband told them what had happened and also mention the fact that the spider problem inside the house was worst. Out kids are waking up with spider bites on their faces and a few have been crawling on our arms or legs while watching tv. So they said they would come on a specific date and do both, inside and outside. Well they were NO SHOW. Then when they did come (we were not home) found the receipt on the door so....No indoor spraying. We've tried calling and leaving messages MULTIPLE times and no answer. No one picks up their phone. Can't wait for our contract to be done to kick this joke of a service to the curve. Lame and pathetic.
