I would not recommend 4WP for complex electrical work. I purchased a dual battery winch kit directly from REDARC, and since 4WP was listed as an authorized installer, it seemed like the obvious choice. I came in with zero knowledge of how these systems work and why I preferred professionals to handle it. However, that decision turned out to be an expensive lesson. I had to source some parts and battery wire for them, which was not ideal, but I didnt mind too much. My bumper wasnt going to be ready for months, so the wiring was going to be done without the winch, intending to hook up the winch later. A day after picking up the truck, I noticed that the secondary battery didnt have a ground. I thought this was a major oversight, so I had an audio shop add one. It might have been something I could have done myself, but I wanted to be absolutely sure it was missing and get a second opinion. One glance and they agreed there was no ground on the secondary battery. I thought my expensive lesson ended there, but months later when my bumper was ready and I purchased my winch, more issues arose. When it came time to install the winch, I was very confused about the wiring because it didnt match the wiring diagram that came with the kit. After weeks of emails and calls with Adam at REDARC, it turns out the wiring wasnt done correctly. Let me be clear: it wasnt that something wasnt working or that something was going to fail down the road; it was wrong in how the kit was intended to be wired. Essentially, it was wired like a typical dual battery system, which functions, but means I have unnecessary components. For example, the kit comes with a BCDC and an isolator. The kit calls for the isolator to be wired in a way that bridges the two batteries for higher draw when winching. However, the isolator is wired in a typical manner to prevent my starter from dying, which is great, but the BCDC is also performing the same function. This renders the isolator useless; if I had gone that route, I could have saved $300. Same situation with the relay. It is meant to bridge the two batteries using the relay and isolator, but instead, the relay is used as an ignition source. Again, not incorrect, but not what the kit calls for, but another $100 not needed. As time passed, I discovered a couple of other issues, such as the brown wire from the BCDC not being fused. This was odd because among the extras they returned to me were a bunch of 40A fuses and holders. REDARC informed me that the only option to fix this is to rip it all out and start over. Alternatively, I could change a couple of wires and run a new button from the isolator all the way to my dash as a backup. However, this seems unnecessary given that my batteries are unlikely to drain with the BCDC managing them. The work itself was mostly well done: most crimps are properly done and shrink-wrapped, cables are neat and secured, etc. But then there's the amp monitor cable they cut (which had pins on the ends), and instead of repinning it, they just shoved the bare wire through the connector. Obviously, this didnt last long, and the wires wiggled out. I could not source pins this small, so I ended up buying another amp monitor. I did call them and explained my issues, with the intention to bring it in, but I didnt see the point. I didnt feel confident enough to let them work on it more, and I wasnt seeking a refund. If you need complicated wiring involving REDARC products, I suggest going to a place that specializes in that kind of work, like Basils Garage. At the end, I still don't have a dual winch kit, I just have a dual battery system with extra components. On the plus side, I am now very familiar with how this system works, or was supposed to work, and with electrical components in general.

I bought a new to me truck and wanted to change up the ascetics of it a bit. Taylor helped me find wheels that were within my budget and fit the truck nicely. He had the service team do a shake down of the suspension and they found some issues. He was willing to give me multiple options for repairs and upgrades. And have the parts next day. The service guys knocked it out and my truck is now safe, driving great and looking good going down the road! Huge thanks to Taylor and the guys in the back!! Very happy customer here!

They guys look the part, but we're very little help when I showed them the tie rod end that I wanted to replace it on my lifted truck. Their customer service seemed like they had better things to do then help me and told me to go to Orielys. The funny part is that it just came from there and Orielys sent me to them. I found an Off Road warehouse store near by and they were able to help and identify that some parts like the the tie rods are customized to the lift and they gave me a quote to replace them. It took 5 min at OffRoad warehouse to get me lined out, and this item that is supposedly they guys cup of tea to install and provide service was stumped.. the service tech I had at this store was a bit arrogant and I walked away knowing this was not the store for me.. But the service, knowledge, and large amount of 4 wheel in stock options of accessories I happened upon at the Off-road warehouse was awesome!! I definitely will be shopping and getting all my future toys and services there.. I am not a die-hard off-roader, so I dont break down alot, but this 4 wheel parts store left me with no answers, and the service guy I happened to get was a bit of a "I know alot more than you" sort of douche.. I now know if I want solid knowledgeable help, you now know my vote Off raod warehouse. This store did not rise to the simple challenge of helping fing a replacement for an outer tie rod for a 6" Rough County lift kit. I hope you have better luck here than I did. If you decide to stop in and chance having the same experience.. Good luck, and God Bless
