        We camped here for one night and really enjoyed the views, the weather, everything was great. We could see the border patrol station light a couple hills over and cell towers next to it gave us perfect cell service. People were of shooting but they stopped as it got dark. After that the night was pretty quiet aside from crickets.

        Using Google Earth in 2012 I saw something that probably deserves a closer look if I have time for a Wilderness walk. Road access was gated but this isn't Mount Everest. I'd suppose Navy Seals use it as urban infiltration objective.. In the Otay Wilderness a might not be entirely trail directed. To do what other visitors avoided. Awkward, isn't it ?
