Dr. Martin was not in my son's United Healthcare Network but continually assured me repeatedly that he would accept what my insurance paid (no deductible) pus $30 per visit which is what I would have paid an network provider. Every visit I asked him and his staff to clarify this and he continually put me off, saying let me see what I actually get paid. Long story short- he was paid $100 per 45 minute visit, where he mainly talked about himself and how knowledgeable he was. Then he refused to take the agreed upon $30 copay telling this single mom that he now wanted another $75 per visit- From the first phone call I told him repeatedly if he could not accept what I would pay a provider I needed to find another in network provider. He straight out lied and twisted the truth and all while telling me that he was building a 5Star resort in Bali. Shame on you ....
