During my daughter's high school years, RBU became an important part of our life. The program and staff of RBU deeply supported not only her development as a musician, but her growth and confidence as a person. Mike and Sandy create a welcoming, inclusive environment and a sense of excellence as defined by the goals and needs of the students. I look forward to the time my younger daughter is old enough to participate!

Mike and Sandy are incredible people who have devoted so much to this program. They started it from the ground up 10 years ago and deserve all the stars in the world. They are the most down to earth people and are completely committed to their students. This is why their students return summer after summer. Its incredible to see the kids grow each season. The experience that the kids get in being a part of a band, having practices and then performing live sets at different venues is such a unique and one of a kind offering. I would recommend RBU to all davis parents. Trust me, you will love seeing the smile on their faces as they rock out to their favorite songs!!

Both of my sons take lessons from Mike and participate in bands through his amazing program. Mike is passionate about what he does, and he relates well to kids and teens. The band program is a totally immersive way to learn their instruments and inspiring for the kids. My son has been in a band for years now, and gets better every time. Now, both of them are playing in a band together and composing their own music. Mike is a music whisperer.
