Needed a new front wheel, payed for it, at home it did not fit. Wrong axel. Went back, did not get any more help except judging my brike costs only a hundred dollar. Never again.

Bought a bike, but it had to be assembled. Was supposed to be ready in 2 days. Realized that the color bike they were building me wasnt a current model year so I called to make sure it at least had all the same components as the bike I was sold (hydraulic disc brakes in particular). I was assured this was the case. I called almost 2 days later and they hadnt started it. 5 days later I call again and was told that they forgot to build it. Supposedly they were going to expedite and it was going to be done way quicker than the 3 hrs I was initially quoted. So we drive out to Davis. 3 hrs later the bike is done but its an older model and has mechanical disc brakes on it. I voiced my frustration w/ the owner who really couldnt be bothered with any of it. Gave me a bunch of excuses before even hinting at an apology. We have 30 people working here. We sell tons of bikes. I wasnt part of those conversations. He offered to build a new one up but said there might be a price difference (there wasnt any difference in price btw the models, but it was clear there would be no concessions made if there was). I returned my order and will purchase elsewhere. Its clear they didnt need this sale, but man this was a really unpleasant experience and a colossal waste of time. I can not recommend spending money here.

Was in need of a repair on a sunday afternoon and my bike is my only method of transportation. i decided to take the 40 minute walk to this shop because i saw that it had good reviews and people had positive experience. I wanted to make sure my bike was taken proper care of since i use it every day and the service definitely lived up to my expectations!I was given a run down of what was wrong with my tires, shown the options for new ones as well as prices, given a rough cost estimate, and then told it should be ready within an hour and a half of dropping it off. Both tires were splitting, detached from the rim, and in need of new tubing. I was completely ready to make the walk back to where i lived and then come back another day to pick the bike up, but was pleasantly surprised when they said itd be done so soon! The new tires are super nice and the ride is smoother than ever, so i will definitely be coming back in the future for all my bike needs.
