Our twin toddlers attended TLC preschool for almost 2 years. We also attended during the covid period. The facilities are clean and safe. We had a great experience with the teachers and staff at TLC and believe our kids are well prepared for life at Kindergarten.

We LOVE TLC! Wonderful staff, excellent, friendly and compassionate teachers. Two of our four children have attended TLC and we have nothing but positive feedback. The staff and front desk care about all of the children and families that attend. Our children love going to school here! The classrooms are clean, spacious and organized.

STAY AWAY! You will enter a beautiful building and be greeted with a fake smile at the door. We initially fell for the allure of the facilities being clean, new, and kid friendly. We failed to notice the toxic work environment for staff and children. The directors run the center as their personal social club with no regard for whats best for the children. The directors are more interested in community gossip than anything else. The teachers are detached at best and generally sad. I personally observed an energetic, happy, newly hired teacher become drained of all her energy from petty unprofessional squabbles with co-workers and directors. For our brief period of time at the center as parents, the staff was petty and unprofessional on almost every engagement. We have an advanced toddler that is verbal, high energy, and can read. Instead of challenging our child more, the teachers viewed our toddler as too much work for their business model. In order to force us to withdraw from the center, in addition to being frequently rude, the directors emphasized minor but age appropriate behavioral issues and demanded immediate corrections. We had no issues at home or at public parks. Our toddler was thriving in all areas except their classroom supposedly. When we asked for video evidence of claimed behavioral issues in the classroom, they refused to provide it. They will never give you video recordings, the cameras are another facade. You will not have a live video feed or phone app. The final straw came from the director Lynn when she insisted we take our toddler to a behavior specialist she had a personal relationship with. She claimed she had sent multiple children to this miracle doctor. This celebrity doctor in Walnut Creek specializes in prescribing Ritalin and Adderall to children. As concerned parents, we immediately saw our family pediatrician and he reported our toddler is healthy, happy, and normal. We provided the daycare center with this feedback from our pediatrician and received a direct threat (paraphrase): Take your toddler to this celebrity behaviorist doctor or you are kicked out. Naturally we did what was best for our child and immediately withdrew from the center. By insisting on this specific doctor, we suspect their is a corrupted relationship between the doctor and director. This review is being done some time after we left. Our toddler is still healthy, happy, and thriving. The treatment we received as parents was frightening. We will never know what bad experience our child had in that classroom. Do not enroll your kids here.

This was way before Covid and it took a while for me to decide if I should write this review or not. The first strike was they almost killed my son with allergy's when he went to a room to take a nap and they switched teachers. When they woke up the new teacher for the room they gave my kid a snack and he even asked her if it was gluten free and she said yes even though we had a labeled snack for him. She noticed after a few bites of cheese it's that he has his own and switched it out and sent him back to class without telling anyone which eventually sent him to the hospital in an ambulance. The second strike for me was before Covid hit we pulled my son out of the class and they stole the deposit because they were "technically open" for the month we pulled him out due to a scare because of his asthma and other underlining conditions. We called to get our deposit back but they refused to give it because they were "technically open". I could have sued for how they mistreated my son with allergies but I chose not to so least I can do is write this review and see if someone listens. The teachers are amazing but the owners are the absolute worst people in the world.
