Kriste Michelini

How I have loved Kriste Michelini and her team for a long time, whether I drop into their office or they visit our home, they have provided current and appreciated designs. They have helped us shape our home into a comfortable "less is better family nest. Kriste has listened to what we think we want and helped us find the right pieces and design to make it happen. She has also been respectful of pieces we wish to keep. Each room has had her touch, but the kitchen and family room have been the best of all. Simple, comfortable, and friendly would be our description. I have appreciated that Kriste always wants to meet with us both so we are on board together. It works every time! We want her back! We have worked with Kriste and her team on a multi year whole house remodel and have been very happy with the results. She introduced us to great tradespeople who could help turn our house into a beautiful home and helped pick the finishes and furnishings for both the house and the yard. We are an active family with two young kids, a dog and two cats, so we were worried about buying expensive furniture only for it to be ruined as soon as we moved in! Kriste listened to our concerns and worked with us to find things that not only looked great, but were very practical and will last a long time in our home. We are very happy with the end result and will continue to work alongside Kriste in the future!

I have had the opportunity to know Kriste for almost 20 years as a friend, as a client and then as an employee of KMI. She is an amazing designer with the highest of standards on every project she touches. She is beyond creative and one of the most solution oriented people I have every met. There was never a design dilemma that she wouldn't try to solve and come up with a beautiful solution. She truly loves what she does and it shows in her work. I would highly recommend Kriste Michelini for her impeccable design knowledge and gorgeous style. She's the best!
