Rooms: Two bedroom was nice but had to share one bathroom and needs updating Walkability: The beach is very close. There is a pedestrian overpass just outside.

Our stay was a VERY positive experience. The one-bedroom suite is beautifully designed, exactly as pictured on the website. I really appreciated the cleanliness in every area of the room, the well-stocked kitchen appliances and utensils, and ALL of the amenities. Literally, everything one could possibly need was available in the room. Loved the beach-front view and the sounds of the waves from the balcony and living spaces. The barbecue on the balcony was a very nice amenity, and I loved the pool area too. The parking garage was very convenient, and staff were friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Nearby activities: Centrally located nearby many nice beaches and watersports activities. Noteworthy details: Very clean and inviting with everything one could possible need-- a fridge, blender, coffee maker, microwave, plates, utensils, pots, pans-- all the little things that matter. Literally, you arrive and drive-- unpack, stock up the fridge and pantry, start vacationing

Accommodating, and friendly staff is what makes this place really great. Everyone we encountered had a smile. Fantastic location with a view, if you have a room with ocean view. This part of Coast Highway is smaller and not as heavily trafficked as it is further north. The room and common areas were clean and well kept. The patio was covered and spacious. All units have a bbq but dont forget your seasonings! The kitchen has all your basic tools, dishes and drink ware as well. Having a separate bedroom apart from the living area was also nice. They offer bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and more to help maximize your stay. We enjoyed watching the trains go by, they are not that loud and quickly pass. Bring some firewood and enjoy the day or evening at Doheny State Beach day use area across the street. There were a handful of first come first serve fire rings available that also have a bbq grate.

The hotel was fine, we had a suite, full kitchen, spacious, which was nice. Free parking spaces at the house. The rooms are rarely cleaned, unfortunately we didn't experience that during our stay from Tue-Fri. A very small pool, fine for small children. The location is so-so, on a very large street. The beach on the other side can be reached via a bridge. It's long but narrow, lots of campers and mobile homes, and there's not much on the beach itself. You can't swim there, but it's good for walking. No food in the house, only very limited in the area (a Mexican restaurant and a sushi shop within walking distance). Overall a good house for a night or two, but not necessarily for a longer stay.
