This is the first apartment that I have ever lived at. What appealed to me was the location. I love to walk my dog and with the three parks next door and the beach so close it is a great fit. The summer concerts, films in the park were incredible. Looking forward to more to come. I thought not having a garage or laundry in my home would be terrible and at times it really is. The Villas grounds men working there are really nice and fix all the things that have broke in my place. When ever I go in the office to ask a question they encourage me to take a handful of doggie treats. So my dogs love the office. The Villas at Monarch has proven to be a safe place for my dog and I. I'm a single lady living here and Safe is important.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Nothing works and they will not come and fix it for weeks. They take forever to respond if they even respond at all. I have had matinee come over 16 times and there are things that still do not work. Breaking the lease is nearly impossible. Its all over email you cant actually talk to anyone. Shannon will not help You at all if you need anything. This has been the worst living experience I have had. The one positive is that the beach is close and as long as you do not need anything from the office then u might be alright. They gave us this min fridge after the one that came with the unit broke. We said its not big enough for us and they told us to get less food. Toilet didnt work for months they told us to use rhe toilet by the pool. Things like that. Be careful when moving here its not what it seems.

The truth is the location is wonderful, walk to beach, great in the summer walking distance to the parks where there are live music events. It has a nice swimming pool and hot tub with regular maintenance. The maintenance crew take care of my apartment repairs in a timely manner. One huge issue is the laundry facilities have machines which are frequently broken and sometimes dont get repaired for days. I will say my apt has a moldy smell and I dont think they can do anything about it. Most recently they changed parking policies and residence with 2 bedroom apts will pay for a second spot. The cost to park your second vehicle $1200 a year. They continuously want to raise rents. They are paying residence for good reviews with gift cards. Im sure mine wont count because Im honest.
