Our family is so grateful for Hope Lutheran. Our son was enrolled during the 2020-2021 school year, and it's the best decision we made for his development and growth.Having come from another Christian private school that was more regimented and strict, we were initially worried our son wouldn't learn as much at Hope Lutheran. But we soon discovered that the school placed as much emphasis on each child's emotional and social development, as their educational growth. Lots of fun projects, outdoor play time, and letting kids be kids! School also takes Covid safety seriously and facility was always clean and sanitized. All around wonderful experience. The proof was in the way our child loved going to school each day.

I went here as a child and I got into all but one of the colleges I applied to. I give Hope the credit. Ms. Cynthia, the director is so kind. I also volunteered at the preschool a few times and the staff is very knowledgeable and hardworking. The summer camp is also amazing. Mr. Corey is a very fun and organized director. I love how well the team handled the COVID-19 situation. They were so interactive and creative. I appreciate and admire their work ethic and dedication. All in all, Hope has a great community for all ages. There are so many fellowships and staff who are so welcoming. I know that Hope has truly shaped me to become the person I am today!

I have mixed feelings about the school but for the price it is not bad at all. My son still refuses to speak chinese but at least he is reading and writing them well. I wish they would encourage more speaking. I also wish they do more email communication. You really have to ask the teacher whats going on to know how everything is going.

Saturday school from 930a-12:15 with a 15 minute recess period. I'm not exactly sure how many classes there are in total.  First time attending Chinese school here for $210/June-Aug.  It's a bit disorganized which I recommend as a suggestion for them to improve upon.  A syllabus would be helpful. There is quite amount of homework.

I am all for the kids to learn Christian values, discipline and life skills at this young age. However, most teachers and aids here don't speak proper English and they yell at kids in the hope of managing them. There is a lack of diversity at this school for some reasons - that said, over 90 percent of students here are from China or other Asian countries. It's hard for these kids to learn proper English or to have some sort of standard English language model. Not recommended. Enough said.
