Seton's Wound Care Center was recommended as I had post operation wounds that resisted healing. Dr. Sydorak immediately began treatment that is showing real results. The staff of RNs is extremely well trained and caring. I clearly see why this Wound Center has the reputation that it does!

Waited 7 hours to be seen after many people came in after me. All the people around me with non-life threatening issues. I was totally ignored and shoved into the corner. Absolutely the worst medical experience of my life. Nurses kept on ignoring me (for hours at a time) and when I asked what was happening they said, Oh you havent been seen yet? Be honest with your patients please.

This review is specifically for the emergency department. My mother had norovirus last year and chose to get treatment at Seton's ED. Back then, the staff barely paid attention to her needs (left her IV out for a long while when she desperately needed those fluids), and let her stumble out of the ED to find a way home for herself. I recently went to the ED this year for a suspected kidney infection. The nurses were rude (especially the triage nurse you can triage someone without cutting them off every five seconds) and dismissed my concerns despite my obvious symptoms. I was discharged with a prescription for the wrong antibiotics, saying I had a UTI. Had to go to UCSF ED two days later because my symptoms worsened. I indeed had a kidney infection. The experiences between the two EDs were almost night and day. Seton really needs to work on hiring competent staff that don't dismiss the needs of their patients. Both my mother and I have suffered unnecessary complications and wasted time as a result of going to Seton.

Negative 50stars! It's been over a year since my grandmother passed away at Seton medical center, and i still think about the horrible night nurse in ICU who was so heartless, and mean to me and my family who traveled from all over to say our last goodbyes as per her doctor he said we can stay with her until her last breath! But the night nurse said NO the doctor is not the boss, your grandmother looks like she's strong and and will make it through the night so You all have to leave! No compassion, no bed side manners! We didn't want to cause a scene! So we left! Then 2 hours later we got the phone call from another male nurse telling us she passed away. To the Woman cHarge Nurse in ICU who worked on September 2, 2022 ... you caused so much trauma to me and my family! Even when we got back to the hospital you didn't bother to say anything to us-, all you did was laugh loud in the room next door! As we were all grieving ! You are awful should not be working as a health CARE worker!! Stay away from the ICU .... they have lost their compassion, and reason why they because a NURSE!!!
