I'm so grateful for Dr. Kenneth Hovden's expertise in fixing my teeth! He's extremely knowledgeable, and not only learns to keep up with new technology and techniques, but teaches other dentists as well. Plus, he's got a great staff. They're all very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Hovden!

My experience as a patient of the office of Dr. Hovden has offered a white glove approach by both the team that supports all things in the office, and Dr. Hovden himself. I found Dr. Hovden as one of the very few top AACD certified fellows in all of Northern California, when I moved back from Orange County. Dr Hovden has provided a seamless transition for me, and expert hand at the things I needed in my continued care. He not only has artist craft, He is a constant learner and always curious about innovation and technology that can be implemented to improve a patients experience. I care a lot about my smile and appreciate seeing a dentist who cares even more.

Ken Hovden loves practicing dentistry and is also a perfectionist. That's a very good combo for patients. Dentistry is literally in Ken's blood as both parents were dentists as is his sister. Ken is very smart (Stanford grad) and skilled (has won gold medals in peer reviewed cosmetic dentistry competitions). He teaches advanced dental techniques and also takes many courses to stay absolutely up to date on the very latest advances in dentistry. I originally found Dr. Hovden when my then current dentist retired and I was looking for a new one. I asked a friend who ran a dental lab who was his pickiest most demanding client. The answer was: "Ken Hovden". I've been a patient for many years and am very happy with the care I have received from Dr. Hovden and his wonderful staff, Colleen and Andrea. Ken has an artist's eye and hands. Even if you are just getting general not cosmetic dentistry done, Ken really works hard to get the aesthetics right. If a crown does not have the right color, translucence, fit or shape he sends it back to the lab. He doesn't settle for mediocre results if something better can be achieved. I have had friends who are dentists comment very favourably on the quality and appearance of the work Ken performed on me. Ken is truly a nice guy, listens to his patients and really cares about their dental health. I highly recommend Ken Hovden.

Dr. Hovden is knowledgeable, trustworthy and an expert in his field! The best in the business! He has been my dentist for 23 years and now is seeing my teenage kids. He creates a pleasant environment and his office staff and hygienists are always so friendly. He pays exceptional attention to detail and is always sharing interesting information with me on how oral health links to overall well being. I always leave with a bit of new information about something from a book he's read or conference he attended. He invests in new, state of the art equipment, so I know my teeth are getting the best cleaning possible. He was a huge lifesaver when my 17 year old daughter took a yeti water bottle to the face and cracked her two front teeth in half. He reattached the teeth and her teeth look perfect, you can't tell anything happened. It was a very traumatic experience for our daughter, but we took comfort in the fact that we were in the best hands with Dr. Hovden.
