Bare Feet Organic Daycare

I usually don't write reviews, but this is not the case, because this daycare was one of the best experiences we ever had for our boy.First of all, It was his first daycare, and we were a bit cautious if he liked it or not, but all doubts have fade away after the first two weeks. My son was waking up and going to bed talking about his new friends and about "Nyanya" (Nanny).Ale is great, she was always supportive and patient with all our questions (first time parents questions :). It was sad to leave the daycare, since we moved to a different area, but I'd like to assure, that if you are looking for russian daycare in south bay area, the Barefeet Organic daycare is the place you can find support, love and the best memories for your child. I strongly recommend this to everyone, who lives nearby.

Amazing place where both of my kids learned to love animals and interact with other children. Delicious homemade food, and Ale who truly cares about every child. So sad we had to move far away.

When my daughter was a little over a year I started looking for daycares and honestly, finding a daycare I liked was one of the hardest things I had ever done. During my search I visited around 7-8 in-home daycares and daycare facilities and I am so glad to have found Ale's daycare. I am also lucky that she had a spot available at that time.Ale is a very caring and loving person. I believe this is THE first most important thing when it comes to finding a caregiver. Caring for kids is not a job for her--it's in her nature. She learns and respects each child's personality and helps them grow instead of molding them one way or another. At the same time she helps kids to love and respect each other as well as pets and animals.I appreciate knowing that my child has fresh, high-quality, home-cooked meal every day. Kids spend their time doing open-ended play, playing outside (in a sandbox, slides, or small pool), or doing fun craft projects that involve different textures and materials. They even do some baking which is a wonderful activity for their cognitive development.As a parent, one of my biggest fears was the transition from being with my child at home full-time to going to daycare full-time. Every child (and even parent) handles this period differently. I am very thankful how Ale and I customized the transition to make it as easy for my daughter as possible.I hope these points help someone else to find the best care for their child

This is a great Russian- and English-speaking home-based daycare. Our son has been going here since he was 12 months old, for almost 2 years, and he loves every day of it! We are extremely happy and grateful to Ale for her care, professionalism and kindness. Kids in the daycare eat home-cooked organic meals - really nutritious and super tasty. Ale is so kind as to give us parents some meals to take home sometimes. Also kids have projects for early development, and they play with farm animals - Ale has a small pet zoo in the backyard. Ale takes into account personalities of every kid and helps them to develop in the best possible way. She creates healthy environment with atmosphere of great fun and attention to every kid, and kids love spending time in the daycare very much!The daycare working hours are 7:30AM to 6PM, which allows working parents to actually have enough time for their jobs. Also Ale hosts a play date at weekend once in a few months, and gives parents a day off.The care that Ale provides for the kids and their families is really beyond what we could ever hope for!

We have been sending my son to this daycare since he was 6 months old, and I highly recommend this daycare.It is very obvious with children if they like their daycare provider - my son from day 2 was excited to go back, and loved Ale immediately. Ale is very nurturing, and clearly has the children's best interest in mind. This is evident through her caring style of play and education, letting them explore and guiding them through it. My son was using a spoon to eat before he was 1 year old, and never has trouble sharing - this is due to Ale's care. Additionally, Ale provides children with play and crafts time that is both fun and also sparks their curiosity. They have performed art projects, played with animals, played musical instruments, cooked healthy and nutritious food, and spent time in the fresh air.Regarding eating and nap time - Ale is some kind of magician. We can't get our son to nap well or eat well at home, but Ale is able to do it for all of her kids at once, and with ease.It is obvious all the children love Ale - they don't want to go home at the end of the day! We love this daycare and are so lucky we found Ale and her family. (Also, she speaks Russian to the children, so my son has already picked it up!)
