My architect placed an order for doors and hidden hinge about six months ago. Because of supply chain problems the order was placed long before the material was needed. At the time my architect placed our order he was told that there were no black finish hidden hinges available. So we ordered chrome hidden hinges. About two months ago we went to install the doors along with the hinges and the chrome hinges just did not fit with our design goals. My architect contacted Sepulveda and asked if we could exchange the chrome hinges. I had done research and found that black hidden hinges were in fact readily available and at a much lower cost than I paid Sepulveda. My architect was rebuffed by Sepulveda ( I believe the Sepulveda contact is named Brian) even though we offered to pay a restocking fee. I had called the hinge importer directly and they said that they would direct ship black hidden hinges with the ok from Sepulveda. My architect called again and Sepulveda replied that they would get the black hinges for $95.00 each ( I paid $55.00 each for the chrome hinges from Sepulveda). I found the black hidden hinges on Amazon for $41.50 each, much less than I paid Sepulveda for the chrome hinges. To add insult to injury Sepulveda said that they wanted me to give them the chrome hinges with no refund or credit applied. My order for doors and hinges was close to $5,000.00. Not huge amount but meaningful. I thought that Sepulveda should have assistnme in making the exchange. The company lacked enough knowledge to know that the black hinges always were available. They said they only deal with one product distributor.and they did not have the hinges.. Nor did Sepulveda feel any obligation to assist me in making an exchange even when my architect offered to pay a restocking fee. There are many other door and window suppliers in the Los Angeles. Turns out we needed one more door to complete our project. Needless to say that we went elsewhere to purchase the extra door. I would never work with this company again.

They came highly recommended by my architect. We ordered some very large Milgard windows for an addition, some solid interior doors and fiberglass exterior doors back in February. Order took about 3.5 months to deliver with lots of issues. Prehung doors didn't actually arrive prehung. Costs me thousands of dollars in extra carpentry work. Milgard had manufactured a slider which locked in the fully open position (yes, apparently it's possible), they never noticed or inspected and delivered as is. It took me another 3 months to get resolved meanwhile the opening was covered in plastic in 100F heat. Awning windows sticking from day one, opened a ticket for me with manufacturer and lost the replacement parts after they received them. I basically have them on speed dail for the last 4 months as they don't proactively try to resolve the issues. To top it all off we painted the large fiberglass front door yesterday and only to see many patches of weird texture and unevenness, so it will likely have to be replaced. I'm dreading making yet another call to them. That would probably prolong my project by another 4 months. Poor quality control. Poor communication. Poor customer service. Poor timelines. I would never want to work with them again

I can trust Gus to make a good recommendation on quality windows and doors. He knew to show me examples of what I was looking for to fit my modern home. The windows and front door look beautiful installed, and they gave the whole a house a face lift.
