I've been using Melendez Company for over 10 years both for our business accounting books & payroll plus business & personal tax returns. Steven my EA has always been my agent and has always done an excellent job. He is patient kind and answers my questions completely. All of the employees are professional smart, communicate easily and politely.  I read the one poor review and it doesn't make a lot of sense. First Melendez Company is not under new ownership. Matt Melendez is still the owner. I've not had any mistakes myself. I highly recommend Melendez and Company for your accounting books and tax return needs. Plus don't need an expensive CPA for books and tax returns. That would add a lot of unnecessary $$$ to your "invoice".

I used to be a DYIer using Turbo Tax, but a friend recommended Melendez Co.  I'm so glad he did. I've now been a repeat customer for the last 10 years.  Even though I no longer live in the SGV, I still use them for my taxes. Steven has been a pleasure to work with.  Efficient, kind, thorough, and above all, ethical.

I started using the Melendez Company several years ago for personal tax services. Steven is great. He is knowledgeable, flexible, he works quickly, and he is always transparent. If he doesn't know the answer to my question about something, he will find it. I paid way too much money elsewhere for too long. I trust Steven and the Melendez Company.
