I made an appointment with Steve over a year before but got an email saying he was retiring and his daughter Leah would handle my taxes instead. We had arranged for a virtual appointment, but when the time came, she never called me and I didnt get an email or anything. I had to call the office to see what was going on and they apologized and rescheduled it for later. Leahs communication was horrible and she didnt even end up completing the service. After finally getting a chance to talk to her and emailing all my documents, she just completely ghosted me.

We have been with Steve at Protax since the 80's, coworkers put me in touch with him, as they were with him before me...it proved to be a Godsend! over the years my taxes were a mess!! oh poor Steve, I know he took a deep breath when we walked through the door !!! lol my husband worked in the motion picture industry, and boy can they be unpredictable!!! but Steve always showed us the best way to go!!! there's no one better!!! you can rest assured that you are in good hands, and he even gives certain discounts to certain groups every year, especially our veteran's!! so check them out if you are in need of a tax expert!! only book your appts. now!!! he fills up quick!! i'm on for next year already!!!

Steve Castro has been our tax man for approximately 22 years within those 22 years. He has been extremely knowledgeable and professional he has honored us as a military family and not charged us We could never repay him for his kindness and generosity and will and have referred him to friends family and colleagues.
