Weve never had a lot of money for a down payment and it took a lot of effort on Javiers part to find us the right home and right seller, but he was very patient and optimistic. Need to sell a home? Need to buy a home? Javier Montiel is the BEST real estate agent! From the get go, Javier was on point, concise, supportive and an excellent manager. He and Ana surveyed our condo, made excellent suggestions of how to better present the home, and identified what was needed before listing and having an open house. They recognized what could be done at low cost using IKEA, resulting in a professional look. His firm took excellent photos of our condo showing its best side. After two weekends of open house and working with other realtors, he presented us with three legitimate offers. On our end, he would preview documents and send batches of documents for us to review. Hed check back if we had any questions or concerns. Then we would docusign the batch. His pacing was perfect; we never felt overwhelmed with information. He started us in preparing documents that would be part of the escrow papers. We never felt rushed and always felt supported. We accepted a strong offer. Then it was off to the races with deadlines, adjustments, keeping us 100% in the loop. Throughout this escrow period, we always felt informed, valued as a client, and on point. There were some compromises in the escrow but he expertly guided us through that process. Our lawyer, who oversaw the paperwork, recognized Javier was thorough and covered every aspect of the sale. Javier is highly organized, takes initiative, is methodical, and takes care of every detail. He is also very accessible, friendly and a terrific listener.
