image Great principal and very educated in learning styles. She has a lot of knowledge and has her priority set for the kids. She has set up awesome learning groups for differentiation.

image My daughter loves going to school here. I can't say that about her previous school so I know there is something magical going on here. The teacher's and principal are wonderful and the founder has a clear vision of where she wants to take this school. The parent's are so involved and the school programs and curriculum are constantly improving. Just go to Facebook and look at the latest culminating project on global citizenship and you will be amazed at what the school is working on and how well-rounded the curriculum is. It is also a trilingual school so your kids will have an advantage in our global business environment as adults with the exposure to Chinese and Spanish at such an early age.

image If I could give this school negative stars  I would. Please don't send your child that has an IEP to this school!!! They will lie to you and tell you that they know how to do IEP's !!! Do you only IEP's that they know how to do it to change it after you sign it to protect their asses legally!!  they do not have a special day class which I knew that but the they  changed the IEP behind my back after I signed to state that my child is in a regular class 100 percent of the time. They will single out children that have IEP's to have them leave the school!!!  They will not supply them with the help of a  one on one aba certificated aid that is written inside their IEP..  Then when you go to transfer from there's school the  IEP's will say 100% normal class. They will not change it back . They will change iep from transportation to no transportation!!  They send my child home and poopy pull-ups ( he has bowel problems) if I would be sending my child to school in a poop pull up that has bowel problems CPS would be called on me!!!  My son goes to school clean every single day but comes home and a dirty diaper/ pull up!!!

image The principal is very thoughtful and expends all her education and energy towards bettering the school. She is accessible to parents and open to taking suggestions. Her principles are in line with socio-emotional learning and she's more concerned about the well-being of our children than pushing them to get good test scores for the benefit of the school. The teachers here are a gem! Seriously the best teachers my daughters have every experienced. They are extremely respectful and hardworking, often using personal time to help our children in whatever way needed. My girls always did well in school but they have grown to new heights this year and have never been happier. This school doesn't practice old-fashioned and ineffective reward/punished based system. The teachers help children understand consequences but they are respectful and never demean or raise their voices. This being a young school, they are still going through growing pains but this in no way effects the children nor diminishes the effectiveness of their learning methods. I was astonished at how well this school navigated online learning and independent programs during the pandemic. Again, this speaks to an incredible staff and leader. If your children are struggling with public school methods of pushing test scores, unnecessary disciple and reward/punishment based system, they will soar here. Highly recommend!

image Enrolling my son at ISSAC has been the best decision we have ever  made not only for his academic improvement but his emotional well being.   Last year my son was a victim of bullying and struggled a lot in order to stand up for himself and overcome the issue.  Unfortunately the school he was attending didn't provide any help or support instead they downplayed the bullying problem.  I was referred by friends to ISSAC and I cannot describe how thankful I am now.   My son enjoys attending the classes, there is so much dynamic, enthusiasm and personal attention provided to all the students.  The teachers are fully devoted to the kids.  Having Mandarin and Spanish classes is extremely beneficial and enjoyable.  Science and Social Studies prepare the kids to the world we are living in. The subjects are  taught online along with manipulatives, paper packets to complete and sensory materials to help build confidence and cognitive skills.  ISSAC is the place to be.
