I used to love J.Jill. Now they lowered the quality of the products as the majority of them are synthetic fabrics. They used to have good natural fabrics. They now want to sell their synthetic fabric product at a much higher price than they used to sell their natural fabric products. I hope they go back to natural fabrics.

I get the catalog and do occasionally purchase something and I do like their clothes.  But  the in-store experience leaves much to be desired as the customer service here can range from indifference to rude. Despite my complimenting her outfit, being pleasant and making small talk, I barely got any acknowledgment out of the salesperson. As a previous review mentioned, retail might not pay that well but J Jill can surely come up with someone who can represent their brand better I would think.

I really do like JJill clothes and often buy online. I had a return to make and knew I was headed into Marin, so I thought I'd stop by the store rather than dropping the item in the mail.I found the (only) person working there to be curt and borderline rude, not just to me but to the two people she helped before me. She nearly threw a sweater at one who asked for a different size and barely nodded at the second while dealing with her transaction. By the time she got to me, she had zero patience left and gave me instructions in a very clipped, annoyed tone. I was trying to be friendly, hoping it might improve her mood, but she was just...a grump? Snooty? Mean? Having a TERRIBLE Christmas?I will NEVER go back to this store, but will continue to shop online. I know retail pays poorly, but maybe there is someone nicer out there who'd like to represent your brand?

Always get excellent service at the Corte Madera location. All sales associates are professional and helpful. Tody the manager is fantastic.

Fantastic team at jjill! They always know my name and are extremely helpful finding the right style for me! Love the clothes but the stylists make the jjill shopping experience perfect.
