Cheryl Johnson RN is amazing! She helped my family navigate through two deaths. She educated us on the support we would receive from hospice and the incredible amount of help our loved one and our family would receive. She even stepped in and helped us when another hospice company dropped the ball and could not provide the level of service our family needed. Cheryl is an amazing leader that leads by example and models the values and ethics of true hospice and palliative care. I would not hesitate to call Cheryl and her team in the future because I know the quality of care and compassion, that is so desperately needed, would be provided to us during our difficult time.

MD Choice Hospice provided exemplary care and support when they came to my home, guiding me through the process of how hospice could ensure comfort and care for my parent during their final days. Their level of care surpasses any other hospice in the Bay Area and believe me I spoke with many hospice companies before choosing MD Choice. One of the many things that sets MD Choice apart is their commitment to continuity of care, ensuring that my parent saw the same caregiver during each visit. My parent actually looked forward to seeing the caregiver and formed a special caring bond during this difficult time. Their highly qualified and compassionate staff treated my parent as if they were their own family, with love and tenderness. Additionally, they offered tremendous support to our extended family, not just my parent who was in the process of passing. At every stage, they were available to address our questions and concerns. Oh my goodness I wish I could give them 10 stars. Everyone at MD Choice Hospice was fabulous and treated us with such kindness and love. I contacted them on a Saturday morning with the hope of bringing my Mom home from a SNF so she could pass away peacefully at home. The person I spoke with said someone would call me and within an hour I received a call from Dina (who is fabulous). She helped coordinate a caregiver, hospital equipment and my Moms move from the facility. On Sunday morning (within 24 hrs) my Mom was home and Jessica, her case manager and Hospice Nurse, was there to facilitate pain management and her transition. Thank you, Thank you to everyone. Your quick response and loving care made this entire process bearable and seamless. These people are wonderful.

My brother used MD Choice Hospice for only a week before he passed. But we're extremely happy we chose them. Not only were they able to provide significantly more daily visits from their team of nurses and aids than the other options we considered, but they were incredibly responsive, efficient, and helpful with every question or request we had--and that includes their 24/7 on-call team. Cheryl, the RN Case Manager, in particular, was a godsend. It was a huge relief to be able to rely on them so thoroughly from day one. They delivered everything we needed within hours of getting the paperwork done; and both Cheryl and an aide were there for the last few hours my brother was alive--providing support and care. We really can't recommend them highly enough!
