    Came in today to look for a couple of sale items. We had a hard time finding an item, but Jay and Art came to the rescue. Not only did they go out of their way to find them, but they made sure we got the sale prices, got us a cart, and loaded my truck. Very helpful to us two old ladies! Very pleasant shopping experience. Another employee offered help as well!! Great customer service. Thank you!!!!

    I went to Ace today because I am a long time customer of Bill's Ace Hardware in Concord CA and although they are slightly more expensive than other places, I like to support small local businesses. I went in today to buy myself 10 bins and was going to use my $20 off coupon however the bins were on sale for $18, which isn't even a sale when they are $14 at home depot, Walmart, Lowe's and other places, but I still wanted to purchase from Ace. They wouldn't allow me to use my coupon because the item was on sale, i get that. I then asked them to charge me full price for the bins so I can use my coupon and the young man helping us wasn't too friendly. I asked him if I could please speak to his manager to ask him and said "I can but its not going to change anything" and he called him on the phone and said "these customers want to use a coupon and I already told them they couldn't but they still want to talk to you". It was a little bit shocking the lack of customer service skills he has. It could be he's young and doesnt know how to speak to customers but he should probably learn. The manager said he couldn't help us but I believe he could have if he wanted to. I will probably think twice before going there to pay more when they don't take care of there loyal customers.

    This store has the absolute best customer service. I had to order a new key fob for my Mazda CX-5, and they were able to get me an appointment/order my key promptly. It did take a couple weeks to arrive, but that is just the delay from the vendors who make these keys. They let me know as soon as it arrived, and were able to schedule me an appointment right away. The total cost is around 250, where the dealership was quoting about 1K! Case in Point: I was on hold for just a few minutes, and somebody jumped on the line to make sure I was not forgotten twice. Count me as a loyal customer.
