Elizabeth Shutters

Horrible experience with Elizabeth shutters. Rep was impatient, disliked questions and totally allergic to changes to the point that he revised the estimate and argued over the phone he could not honor the initial quote. Why would we buy from an untrustworthy company? Got a much better quote (for a comparable product) from another company with an honest rep who was patient, listened, and answered to our questions. In short, the relationship is as important as the product and this company failed miserably.

We purchased the shutters 4-11-2023 installed 6-2-2023 a little over 7 weeks. When shutters were installed, one of the hinges was not in line with the rest of the hinges, which we noticed after they left. Sent text to sales person about the situation and he said the shutter panel would needs to be removed to relocate the hinge in the shop. He said customer service would contact us to set up time to remove shutter. Seventeen days later they finally showed up to take shutter back to the shop for repair. We called 6-20-2023 to see when we can expect our repaired shutter, answer was we do not know, we will get back to us. Now we have cardboard in place of the shutter. Totally unacceptable! We have paid in full and now feel this is getting dragged out too far. Please see attached picture of the hinge. We are not very happy with sales, customer service and installed product.

I would like to say that it was a pleasure to work with Elizabeth Shutters. Each person I interacted with, the receptionist/scheduler, the salesman, and the installer took pride in their work, treated me with kindness and respect, and completed their step in the process with utmost professionalism. The closet doors are well made and fit perfectly. Obviously the construction crew are experts! Thank you.
