He is beyond amazing. I had pain for years, after I hurt my back in the military. With Dr. Kims help. I feel as close to 100% as anyone can ask.

I wish I could give 0 stars for this man because I wouldn't even call him a doctor. What doctor would be so uncaring and just walk out the door when his patient is crying. He never asked me where my pain was or if I wanted to try a different medication. I mean what pain specialist doesn't ask where you're hurting? He obviously doesn't care about his patients and in his visit notes he writes non medical and irrelevant information about you. He even called my doctor appointment to a separate specialist a "second opinion" for my pain when I was going to this doctor because I fell down a flight of stairs which caused a spinal fluid leak! I repeatedly told him that I was hurting very bad at night when trying to sleep. He didn't bother to help me or ask me where it was hurting, I wasn't asking for more medication I would have accepted any help. My new doctor asked me to show him where I was hurting and he knew exactly what my problem was and sent me to physical therapy which helped a great deal. My new pain doctor changed my medication too and got my pain under control. TAKE MY ADVICE! DO NOT GO TO SEE THIS MAN! There are better pain management doctors out there. AND he shouldn't even be allowed to practice medicine!

Dr. Kim is a great pain management Dr. He is caring and very experienced in his field. He truly helps his patients when they need it the most, a rare commodity today.

i like dr kim but his staff and phone its impossible to get any information or to get a message to dr kim, i moved out of state called serval times to get a referral for a pain management dr here in az and no one has got back to me i call and its like talking to a machine or bot makes no sense, so this is my last attempt to contact dr kim for a referral out here sense its impossible to get a hold of the dr kim to even ask a question

I have an autoimmune condition that causes severe back pain and have seen several pain management doctors over the years for flare ups - including at Stanford and USC. He is by far the most compassionate that I have ever met. As a physician myself, I've noticed that many pain management doctors focus mostly on the risks of treatment instead of how to holistically address someone's quality of life. Very "black and white" thinking. Dr. Kim was open minded, cared about improving my quality of life, and listened to what my personal goals were. My treatment has been very successful and I am so grateful that he is helping me.
