    They charged me more than my insurance said I owed on multiple occasions. It took them 18 months of trying to get a preauthorization for braces after they "lost the paperwork" on multiple occasions. Finally, they refunded my FSA twice due to an admin error and then sent me to collections for it without ever notifying me of a balance due. After bringing my son to this office for YEARS and always being happy with it we will never go back. They recommended a lot of work that his new dentist says is unnecessary. They only seem interested in squeezing as much money out of their patients as they can. Do yourself a favor and find another dentist.

    Awful at communications. My son had an appointment 6 months ago and when we showed up they told us he didnt have an appointment, even though I received a confirmation just days before. They were able to squeeze him in but the lady was very rude about it and the appointment felt rushed. Today I receive a call about my sons appointment for tomorrow that they do not have a pediatric dentist and that he could see the main dentist and I said that was fine however I would have to reschedule!!! I specifically schedule these appointments while on vacation but they waited until the day before to let me know. I asked if they just found this out today and the lady said they had known for some time. The incompetence of the scheduling and staff is beyond frustrating and extremely unprofessional.

    The staff and Dr. Choi are amazing! My son was having a hard time getting numbed for a baby root canal, which ended in extraction. Dr was VERY calming and so patient with my son, explaining everything he was feeling step by step. The assistant was AMAZING too, always giving compliments about how brave my son was being. Unfortunately my son's roots were wild and I'm pretty sure they both ended up working through lunch, never once complaining or looking like they were rushing the process! The BIGGEST bonus for me, was asking my son after the extraction on the way home, if he was mad at the dentist and he said no. Dr. Choi even called after hours to check on him personally. I am so thankful for this office nurturing dental relationships and my kids aren't traumatized by such big procedures! I HIGHLY recommend this office, it may be hard to get in, or a hold of the staff, but IMO, it's truly worth the wait! Thank you My Kids Dentist!

    Do not take your children here. The office staff here are rude and incompetent. The office staff of their non pediatric Clovis crossing dental are just as bad. In December, my wife took our children for their scheduled cleaning and gave the front desk staff our new insurance. She was lectured by an unpleasant woman that she should have given them our updated insurance 2 weeks prior. My wife apologized and informed her the change to the new provider just happened at the beginning of the month and wed only received our cards that week, plus she wasnt aware they needed it that far in advance. You would think a kids dentist would be aware pediatric dental insurance is covered under medical insurance since 2014. Apparently they never got that memo here, because when my wife gave them our BlueShield card they told her that was the wrong card, and asked for the Delta Dental card that she had pulled out with the BlueShield card. My wife explained that Delta Dental was only for her and I and the kids were covered by BlueShield. After running the Delta Dental insurance and finding the kids werent covered my wife called me to tell me about the issue. I called BlueShield and they confirmed the kids had coverage and that it was the same card and member number for medical and pediatric dental coverage. The person at BlueShield was surprised that the dentist office didnt know that. In the meantime the front desk person took it upon herself to look up our old insurance (inactive) and bill them for it. By the way, they billed over $500 per child for cleaning and X-rays. I know this because I received an Explanation of Benefits from the old carrier showing nothing being covered due to the policy expiration. After getting off the phone with BlueShield I called their office and let the front desk person know that BlueShield is the correct one and I had confirmed it with BlueShield. She said well no problem it went through on your old insurance. I informed her that was not an active policy and do not bill it to an expired plan, please use policy on the card my wife provided. Clearly they didnt since the only EOB I received was from the carrier of the expired policy. TL:DR they were rude to myself, falsely told her she provided the wrong card and proceed to bill our expired insurance.
