stopped here after getting a flat tire and the manager, connor bigenho, single-handedly saved my life. not only did he put air in my tire, but he also personally drove me to the san bernardino mountains and fought away a mountain lion that tried to take over my campsite.

In a world full of ordinary gear rental centers, theres one place that stands out like a beacon of adventure, and thats the Outdoor Education Center at Pomona College, ruled by none other than the legendary Connor Bigenho. Hold onto your hiking boots, folks, because this review is about to get outrageous! The Sudden Life-Changing Experience: You know youre in for a wild ride when a trip to the Outdoor Education Center feels like a plot twist in an action movie. Imagine this: I, a hapless city slicker, decided to embark on an epic camping expedition. As I reached for my trusty old tent, it disintegrated into a cloud of dust. That's when the Outdoor Education Center at Pomona College swooped in like a team of gear-wielding superheroes with a tent, a bundle of tent pegs, and a rain cover! Gear Beyond Imagination: The gear at this place isnt just top-notch; its like something out of a sci-fi movie. The OEC provided me with a map that not only told me my coordinates but also predicted my future success as a camper (spoiler alert: it said Id be great). Need a headlamp that can light up the entire forest? Theyve got it. Want a sleeping bag thats comfier than your bed at home? You betcha! Its almost as if they have a secret stash of gear from the future. Connor: The Real-Life Superhero: Now, lets talk about our fearless leader, OEC Manager Connor Bigenho. Rumor has it he once outran a grizzly bear while holding a chocolate bar (the bear chose the chocolate, obviously). If youre ever lost in the wilderness, just shout Connor! and hell appear with a map, a compass, and a firm handshake. Hes the reason I can now identify poison ivy and navigate by the stars (even in broad daylight). Outrageous Adventures: The Outdoor Education Center doesn't just rent gear; it's a gateway to the most outrageous outdoor adventures. With the OEC's guidance, I've climbed mountains, kayaked down waterfalls (okay, small ones), and even wrestled a trout (the trout won). Each trip is like a scene from an action movie, and I'm convinced that one day, Hollywood will make a blockbuster film about our exploits.
