The citrus Heights police are a complete joke. They ignore other things that are serious and innocent people get harassed and made to look like they're stupid by contradicting the way things are supposed to go and the testing, etc. and I had a police person that only has been on the force for two years and he use paper or something like by my eyes. It was the weirdest test I've ever seen

Cool police department! They got cool stuff like swat cars, ford patrol cars, K'9, nice guns, nice uniforms and nice police officers.

I really don't know what the point of this police department is. I feel like security guards have more power and enforced more than any officer I've ever encountered with Citrus Heights Police Department. The only thing I ever see them do is write traffic tickets and even that has become almost nonexistent. Are they just here to supervise? I don't get it. I actually called and got a reckless driver in our neighborhood a while back and they got turned around on me because I didn't know the guy had a previous criminal record and the cop did and apparently that's an issue.... like I called them on purpose because I knew of this guy's past? I didn't, I just don't want some kid getting killed on our street by a maniac driver... But that's my fault somehow. I give up .

Anybody complaining about slow response times, not being able to take a report in person. Or feelings that CHP are not doing enough. Just know that they are limited to what they can do. They are underfunded. And held back by some of the most soft on crime laws in our country. If you want a better police department. And a cleaner, safer city. Vote for politicians who are willing to get tuff on crime. And when local elections come around. Don't be afraid to vote for anything that may help fund our city or police department.
