I'm a new client here as of twenty twenty three. I feel like i'm unimportant. The people here keep giving me resources that are not available and don't work. I'm sad and I hate being alive. The system is broken and doesn't work. If the system did work, resources that were provided to me would be there. Every resource that this mental health agency has given me so far is a dead end road.

I missed an appointment and everytime i call to get another one i get a voicemail with a full inbox that has probably not been emptied in years even during work hours or as soon as they are open at 8 am you get the voicemail

I have been at el hogar since 2020 and HORRIBLE communication and scheduling have been the norm for YEARS NOW. I've had staff cancel AN HOUR before our meeting. Most of the time they do not help set up follow up appointments, and forget about calling in to get help. There have been times when i've had to call AT LEAST 12 times before getting someone on the phone. Recently i left an appointment without setting up a follow up at the front desk because i was in a hurry so i called once i got in the car to set it up over the phone. Not even 2 minutes had gone by since i left the office and i couldn't get anyone on the phone. i spent the next hour calling , unsuccessfully. Everything is so disorganized their automated message still gives notice of "Thursday they will be closed in celebration of Cesar Chaves day" from earlier March of this year. It is December of 2022 currently. Everything about their services is poor. Go somewhere else if you have the option.
