San Diego Photography Classes

I have nothing but high praise for Hector. His class is very comprehensive. I took photography back in college (more years ago than I care to admit) and for all practical purposes, I was a beginner when I took his class. In fact, there were several other students who had not used a professional camera before. Hector covered so much ground, going over all the basics, and all the different settings and modes of the camera in a way that he made it understandable, straightforward and practica. I truly felt that I got max value for my money. Thank you Hector!

I had the privilege of taking Hectors No More Auto class yesterday in San Diego and it far exceeded my expectations. Hector is an outstanding teacher who was able to break down a lot of information to digestible segments with exercises to help each student truly understand the concepts. He is such a dedicated professional that he stayed with us for a full hour past our class time to ensure that he covered all important topics. While it is a very long day and you have homework before you even arrive, the value that I received from the class far exceeded the price I paid. If I could give Hector 6 or 7 stars, I would happily do so. Thank you Hector!

I highly recommend taking this class either in San Diego or Las Vegas. Hector is a wonderful instructor. He takes the time with each student and is very knowledgeable about all the different types of cameras out there. If you want to move away from auto and have more control over what your camera can offer, this is the class for you. Can't wait to take more classes from Hector.

What a great class! Hector is a experienced photographer, a truly amazing instructor! I have always been interested in photography and now with two little young ones I just want to capture all those special moments. I have spent countless hours on you tube but I felt I just wasnt learning. I was stuck on auto mode I stumbled upon Hectors classes and saw the best reviews. Let me tell you that if you are looking to get out of auto mode on your camera in one day, DO IT! Take his class and I promise you wont be disappointed. I really enjoyed the one on one instruction, its what I needed to really learn how to understand my camera. Im looking forward to use all this new knowledge and taking some incredible photos!

I really enjoyed the "No more Auto" workshop and wish I would've taken it a decade ago. Hector does a great job explaining things and answering questions and even provides a binder full of helpful information you can reference at home. After just one day, I feel more confident with my camera and have been able to take shots that I actually want instead of what auto mode gives me. I'm excited to continue building my photography skills with this new foundation. Highly recommend!
