Atienza Pamela V MD

My son is 7 years old and has autism. Dr. Atienza and her staff were so kind and understanding of his special needs. I dont know why there are any negative reviews about serving children with autism, because the doctor was great. She accommodated when I missed the first appointment, and even got us an appointment with late notice just in time for school vaccinations. The office staff was great with my son and helped me the whole time when he threw a major tantrum getting vaccinated. They did not make me feel embarrassed or anything and my son was so loud. Dr. Atienza is a great general provider or pediatrician for children regardless of ability. Thank you to all the staff you ladies are the best!

Extremely rude , old fashioned mindset, getting referrals is an obstacle course . Horrible awareness for autism. Would not recommend to any special needs family at all.

She has seen all four of my kiddos now ages 8 through 23. We found her after a terrible experience elsewhere and she has been a godsend

Dr. Atienza and her staff are always professional and kind. They are always patient and understanding. All three of my children have gone to her since they were newborns. My 18-year-old is sad because she can no longer be a patient of Dr. Atienza's! I appreciate their many years of excellent service and I would recommend them to anyone.

The worst experience, my daughter was born with hip dysplasia, Dr. Pamela was her doctor from birth until she was 4 months old and she never realized. Thank God one day my daughter got sick with very bad diarrhea and the doctor did not want to see me. daughter despite our insistence and we decided to take her to another place where she was immediately treated by Dr. Sretenka Dokich in Imperial Beach. It took her 1 minute to know that my baby had a problem with his hip until my husband taught him and told him to put his hand on my daughter's hip so that she could realize my daughter's problem with her hip and Thank God she referred us to a specialist who performed hip surgery otherwise my daughter would not have been able to walk well or she would have suffered. I have never left a review but I don't want another family to go through this.
