Gibson Lighting

Was gifted a cool old lamp made from an abacus, that no longer worked after I tried to attach a shade. Gibson rewired it completely and made sure to use (new) parts that looked old, down to the antiquey looking plug. Also changed it to a dimmer switch that works with any bulb. Very happy with the results.

We have purchased multiple light fixtures for our older home from Gibson Lighting and they have also rewired items for us with a quick turnaround time. Jim worked with us on matching patinas and ensuring that the chandeliers had the proper hardware for installation.They have a good selection of lighting that is historically appropriate and it is fun to browse the studio.

This place is a little off the beaten path and May not have the most convenient hours, but if you have an antique or not-so-antique light fixture that needs to be repaired, this is *the* place.They did a fantastic job repairing and rewiring my not that old Tiffany-style lamp in 24 hours. I am so pleased that the gentleman at TAP Lighting referred me here. Plenty of parking in front of the building and the staff is very accommodating at helping carry in bulky or heavy items. They are located in the second row of buildings in the back to the left of center.
