I responded to an online ad for a Honda Civic. The Honda Civic SI was advertised online for $30,000. I drove 50 miles from Escondido to Chula Vista Honda to purchase the vehicle. After all said and done the final price the vehicle is closer to $40,000 with all the add-ons. For example, they required you to purchase an aftermarket alarm system for the vehicle which they had priced at $2,000. I was in no way interested in an aftermarket alarm system. There were multiple add-ons that were required to make the purchase. I finally said I'm done and got up and left. Chula Vista Honda is the most dishonest dealership I have ever been to. If they just would have told me before I drove 100 Mi round trip that the vehicle they advertise for $30,000 was going to cost me $40,000 I would have never made the trip.
