Bought the DeWalt 20 volt ratchet wrench and it came with a bad battery. I went back to the Chula Vista location where I bought it, for an exchange, but Pati told me that the warranty would have to be through Dewalt they don't warranty Dewalt products there. She didn't ask for the receipt or time of purchase, nothing she just denied the exchange and told me to call Dewalt directly or to look for a service center. I bought it there to avoid this problem, if I would've known this beforehand I would have bought it somewhere else cheaper. Instead I bought it there because I thought it would be convenient in case I had any problems with the tool. A week later I called their 1 800 number to see if they could help me with the replacement and they said they couldn't because It was passed the 90 day period eventhough I was given false information in the store within my 90 day period. I learned from this mistake and I'm never buying any tools from them again, I rather go somewhere else. Hope my bad experience helps someone avoid making the same mistake as me.

I have made no less than 12 calls regarding a return of flooring to Lowes Eastlake. I have actually never gotten anyone to answer my call. Their phone system says it will transfer you to the correct department and all that happens is that the phone rings 20-30 times and then disconnects. Meanwhile I have a pallet of flooring in my garage that they have already agreed to take back, but when they have sent someone out, they dont have the correct forklift to pull the pallet out of the garage and load on the truck. How hard is it for this major retailer to bring a pallet jack in their box truck or to even answer a phone call?
