    Ive never had a bad experience at this hospital until Dr Jeffery Sugar raised his voice at me, interrupted me time and time again while I tried to explain my situation, and would not help me.

    I continue to be frustrated with the level of care at Sharp. My cancer care was outsourced to a specialist provider. Every 6 months I require blood draws as a part of my care, monitoring for a return of the cancer. I am three years in, and with EVERY visit to Sharp for the laboratory blood work there are problems. I'm unsure why they refer me to a third party provider if they aren't able to track the fact that I'm supposed to have these blood draws every 6 months. In every case I wait. I watch people come and go. I bring copies of my own doctor orders which they won't look at (do you think I'm making up my own lab draw orders? No.) I have to have the oncologist send extra copies to the lab, every time. Today I've waited an hour and 15 minutes and while the receptionists at the laboratory are polite, I'm still sitting here watching people come and go from the lab. After the faxed orders are located, then we wait while the lab receptionist needs to talk to patient financial services to see if I'm allowed to get my blood drawn. This usually requires another 45 minutes. Then I wait for a blood draw person. That's usually about another half hour. Obviously I'm going to go through with this protocol in order to monitor whether my cancer has returned. However Sharp needs to put some thought into this improving this protocol. It is NOT patient friendly in the least. It inspires NO confidence that Sharp is tracking what is going on... If I were choosing my healthcare provider with this knowledge I would think twice about choosing Sharp...

    RN Rabia was the absolute best!! I told her that I had to write a review. This was the end of November. I didnt do it right away even though I kept reminding myself. I dont remember all of the specifics but I just know that she was thorough and she called back to follow on my sweet 1 year old. People never forget how others make them feel. She felt familiar and warm. Thank you again!!

    Parking is a nightmare.. they are building another building and put the parking structure on the far side of the construction. I had to laugh at the new valet parking as if medical costs and prescriptions werent enough.. Good grief, as Charley Brown would say!!
